Feedback on the Lourin Fair Carriage Driving Event

Dear George and Ruth,

Thank you very much indeed for a wonderful day on Sunday. It was a lovely event and a wonderful venue for my first attempt at tandem driving. I had a great time and was delighted to get round without mishap (even with my broken ribs!) and I am quite sure I learned a lot.

It was very pleasing to see such good entries so obviously the good reputation of your event is spreading. The cones course was fun and tested my steering quite a bit and the obstacles were ideal for a tandem learner without causing me too much embarrassment! The weather and the ground conditions were good too so perhaps the overnight gale dried things up a bit!

Please pass on my thanks to your many helpers for making the event such an enjoyable one as without them we wouldn’t get the chance to try out something different in a friendly and stress free environment.
